Scott Paterek

For nearly 30 years, Scott Paterek has been on the scene in the Arkansas interior design arena. Starting with his love of fabrics, Scott segued from fashion into interior design. That influence is apparent in his design aesthetic…elegant with a classically modern feel. In 1995, Scott and his business partner, Rus Venable, opened their interior design firm, Chatelain. During that time, Scott saw the demand for transitional, traditional home furnishings and opened his retail store, Massimo, in 1996. Since then, Scott has worked on projects from Scottsdale to Manhattan and, of course, his hometown of Little Rock.

Throughout his career, Scott has been very involved in a number of Build for the Cure and Arkansas Symphony Designer houses. Scott’s work has been showcased in several publications including At Home in Arkansas. His impeccable taste and attention to detail has made Scott one of the premier interior designers in the South. Scott takes a genuine and personal approach with each client. Working together to assure that the client’s vision is realized in an easy, enjoyable way.

Tammie Weaver

Tammie Weaver began working as a floral designer in her family’s business, Silk and Sawdust, when she was 25 years old. Tammie realized how much she loved interior design when she was hired as a floral designer by a local interior designer, and she decided to pursue an education in the field. It was during this time that she met Scott Paterek and the two began working together. In 1997, she graduated with a degree in Interior Design from the University of Arkansas. She has worked in Oklahoma, Georgia, Tennessee and all over Arkansas, and she assisted Scott on the Build for the Cure and Symphony Designer Houses.

Tammie loves to transform a house by creating new looks and spaces with imagination. Her style ranges from contemporary to traditional to eclectic, and she loves seeing a project begin at phase one—moving walls, choosing new finishes and building new additions—then transforming into a finished home. Seeing the response from the client is her greatest reward. Tammie believes that using a designer should be an enjoyable and personal experience, and clients should choose a designer who can lead them in the right direction and take their personal preferences into consideration. Tammie has three children and recently welcomed her first grandchild into the world. She is married to her best friend and biggest fan.
